In my opinion AI can be used as a tool if used wisely. Since it is growing quickly I do not see why I would not try to be a bit familiar with it. That being said I know it has faults that I hope can be controlled by understanding more about it. I can see how it could be used as a future teacher. I could use it for fun simple things like making cool letters or have it assist me with lesson planning. For example if you ask Chat GPT to make a 60 minute lesson plan for grade 2 literacy about sea animals it will give you everything you need. It will tell you how much time each part takes, what materials are needed, and what the learning outcomes are. This still does not mean Chat GPT could be a teacher because it lacks empathy but it could be a great teacher tool to spark ideas and create fun, effective activities!
